Early Life Journey
I belong to a farmer’s family; born and brought up in a small village, Bibi (Sawli) in Vidarbha, 50 km between Nagpur and outskirt of Wardha. I completed my initial education in my village. For higher studies I moved to Nagpur to pursue graduation and B’ed.
I started my professional journey as an LIC agent way back in 2004, while pursuing graduation. The idea that time was to earn some pocket money. However, soon I got interested in it and realized that this would make for a great full time career. So, I discontinued my agency for the time being to go back and focus on completing education so that I could launch myself as an LIC Advisor and an investment Consultant; that I achieved in 2007 with all the daring & grit.
नागपूर पासून 50 किलोमीटर अंतरावर जिल्याच्या शेवटच्या टोकावर घनदाट वन वैभवात वसलेले माझे बीबी गाव. माझे आईवडील शेतकरी. त्यामुळे घरातील उत्त्पन्न शेतीवर आधारलेले होते. माझे प्राथमिक शिक्षण मी गावातच कसेतरी पूर्ण केले. माझ्या बीबी गावात पुरेशी शिक्षणाची सोय नसल्यामुळे दहावी बारावी चे शिक्षण कान्होलीबारा तर पदवी साठी वर्धा आणि बी एड साठी नागपूर गाठावे लागले.
ही गोष्ट २००४ साल ची आहे . मी पदवीचे शिक्षण पूर्ण करीत असतानाच कमाईच्या साधनांचा शोध सुरु होता . भारतीय आयुर्विमा महामंडळ मध्ये विमा अभिकर्ता हा माझ्या आयुष्यातील सुरुवातीचा व्यावसायिक प्रवास आहे . शिक्षण सुरु असताना पैश्याअभावी अडथळा येऊ नये म्हणून सुरु केलेला प्रवास होता . या क्षेत्रात मेहनत गरजेची असल्यामुळे मी खूप मेहनत घेतली . त्यातून मिळणाऱ्या यशामुळे मला त्यात आवड निर्माण झाली . परंतु त्यामुळे शिक्षणाकडे दुर्लक्ष होण्याची जाणीव मला होत होती . शेवटी काही काळासाठी हा व्यवसाय बंद करून मी परत शिक्षणाकडे वळलो . नंतरच्या काळात मी पदवी पूर्ण करून भारतीय आयुर्विमा महामंडळामध्ये विमा मदतनीस आणि गुंतवणूक सल्लागार म्हणून कार्य सुरु केले . साल २००७ या वर्षी मोठ्या हिंमतीने व मेहनतीने सुरु केला हा यशस्वी प्रवास आनंददायी आहे
Education, Awards, & Recognitions:
I came into this line after completing my B.A and B’ed in English Literature. I decided to clear IRDA to become a qualified LIC agent. I also completed courses like Super6 (Basic & Advanced), Corporate, Super 12 Advanced course among others with Zaidi Corporation, Mumbai, also completed training sessions from IIOE-Indian Institute of Excellence (Basic, Advance & FTS Level) that has enabled as well as empowered me to offer my services with utmost professionalism. Keeping abreast of current industry dynamics has helped me to share relevant information as well as provided superior service to my clients & stay at the top of my game.
I have also done my training from Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon recognized and accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. MDI is the first internationally accredited Indian Business School conducting international level training programs for professionals. Doing a training from an institute that has received international accreditation by Association of MBAs (AMBA) London in 2006 and is accredited by South Asian Quality Assurance Systems (SAQS) in the same year has been a great experience and has widened my perspective to be able to understand the same situation differently in diverse environments.
Awards
I’ve been privileged to win recognition from MDRT consistently for three years in 2018, 2019, & 2020. MRDT stands for Million Dollar Round Table is an American organization formed in 1927 that recognizes Insurance agents in 82 member countries for following best business practices and practicing ethical and effective ways to increase client interest in financial products. Out of 12 lac LIC agents across India; the organization recognizes 4000 agents based on their performance and practices. My next target is to work hard to win COT awards. I am also putting in my best to be recognized by LIC’s Galaxy Club.
Besides the above, I’ve been privileged to win LIC Crorepati Award based on Premium; I’ve also won Century Award based on number of policies; besides these my performance is recognized by higher authorities like Chairman, Zonal Manager, Marketing Manager, and Senior Divisional Manager in LIC from time to time. Also, I am always in the No.1 position among My Development Officer's Team.
I firmly believe and advice people that, “if you’re thinking about taking LIC policy for yourself, your family, or staff, you should seek services of a full time LIC agent. The quality of assistance, guidance, and services that a full time LIC agent offers is not comparable with those who work as part time LIC agents or do it as a side business. My Commitment
As a full time LIC advisor, besides helping clients select the best policy based on your goal and budget, my staff provides many other personalized and continued services. You get a phone or SMS from our office to remind you of premium due date in advance, sharing important announcements and more. My staff personally visits clients’ residence or office to collect the premium. In the event of policy maturity, accident, hospitalization, death, etc. we coordinate with LIC office on your behalf to help you settle matters. As I’ve been associated with LIC for many years, I am well networked and know how the system works, saving you all the confusion and running around.
Clients
My clientele is wide ranging from rural to urban. From farmers, salaried professionals, self-employed to small & medium business owners, cater to all. Also, since my clientele is wide spread across Nagpur district, I have set up two offices which enable me to serve my clients better and faster. One office is in Kanholibara, opposite bus stop; and the other that has been recently set up is near DMart opp Sutgirni Gate in Wanadongri.
